We are known as the practice lineage. Retreat is when our meditation practice becomes a part of us, down to the bone. We remove all distractions and focus solely on specific practices to see the nature of our minds and reality. In the time of the founding of the Drikung Lineage 150.000 people went into retreat. Two retreats are highlighted in this newsletter:
Spend New Years with us! As we close this year and start anew, we invite you to gather perspective. Dharma teachings invite us to contemplate the immanence of death and to meditate with impermanence and our fragility in mind. With ample practice time, Turning the Wheel of Time; Dec 27 - Jan 3, will focus on readings that familiarize us with the aging and dying process. This retreat is suitable for both beginning and advanced practitioners and will be an intimate in-house event.
